Have more good days then bad days

Hundres of times I am asked “how do you cope with life? and I assume that people ask this question based on the huge amount of energy and commitment I throw in every single day to my life. While writing this article I was the owner of a multimillion dollar a year business, had three children aged five and under, was on multiple school or government boards and still found time to write an article. During this part of my life it would have been entirely understandable for me to quit one or even three or four things on any given week but I did not. One thing though that I can say for sure happened on many occasions was this: a horribleawful|bad} day.

Yep they happened all the time and for anyone who has lived on this earth for more than a few days can attest it happens to everyone. It does not matter if you are flat broke or the winner of the powerball, have an awesome occupation or live in the gutters sometimes the day is a pile of you know what. Sometimes it is simply unavoidable due to circumstances out of your control and other times it is because of your presence or responses to the days situations. Whatever the reason for your bad day, rest assured it is not an anomaly and it is probably happening to someone else at the very same time. So inevitably from here the question often invoked is what do I do about it?

The single most important piece of advice I can offer people on bad days is to simply jump right back into the thick of it and ignore it! There are many different ways that you can accomplish this but the easiest way I know of is to briefly go back through the day mentally and figure out exactly what went wrong. It may have been something entirely simple such as stubbing your toe when you got out of bed or something more complex involving who knows what. Whatever the reason be sure to pick out the one single event that caused the remainder of the day to go downhill.
