How did we get here? 18 months ago, my family and I were living pretty well. My hubby had knee surgery, and was out of work (he was a foreman of a factory) for 6 weeks. It was only supposed to be 3, but due to complications it was 6. The day he went back to work, he had a KILLER headache. Insert a bunch of bad luck, stumbling blocks, and srt-backs here…
My point… he lost his job. So now we were stuck.
He could only find part time work.
Then I got sick… very sick. Spent the entire month of December 2007 in the hospital…
My husband and I and our children were in poverty from than on. We had to find something. He was working part time, and odd jobs when he could find them. I was spending our savings on internet jobs… It’s a bad thing when I am the most gullible person for MILES!! Our family has had our fair share (and them some!) of hard times. There are very few things that we haven’t been through. Sickness, near-death, poverty, happy, sad, loss, you name it.
