A Lot Of Ideas For MySpace Business Marketing

Friday, April 10th, 2009

The question of whether or not MySpace can be used to promote a business is certainly debatable. MySpace is intended to be a non-commercial website by nature but there is a different between blatant commercialization and mentioning a product or service you offer and providing a link as a useful resource to visitors of your website. This article will take a look at the opportunities to promote a business on MySpace by providing information on determining whether or not your method of business promotion is permitted on MySpace and information on how to promote your business without being accused of spamming MySpace. Here are A bunch of tips to help you figure it out.

Review the Terms of Service Carefully

The terms of service provided by MySpace can provide the greatest insight into whether or not there are ways to promote your business through MySpace. Members of MySpace are asked to review the terms of service before becoming a member. Each member should carefully read through this entire agreement to come to a better understanding of which types of activities are allowed on MySpace as well as which types of activities are prohibited. Advertise cash jobs on there too.

One of the stipulations of the MySpace reads as follows, “Non-commercial Use by Members. The MySpace Services are for the personal use of Members only and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by MySpace.com. Illegal and/or unauthorized use of the MySpace Services, including collecting usernames and/or email addresses of Members by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email or unauthorized framing of or linking to the MySpace Website is prohibited. Commercial advertisements, affiliate links, and other forms of solicitation may be removed from Member profiles without notice and may result in termination of Membership privileges. Appropriate legal action will be taken for any illegal or unauthorized use of the MySpace Services.”

This section of the terms of service stipulates that MySpace is created for non-commercial use unless Myspace.com has approved the use of a member’s website for commercial purposes. Therefore care should be taken when designing a MySpace website to ensure the website will not be deemed to be a commercial website by MySpace administrators.

When In Doubt, Ask Questions

Those who are unsure of whether or not their MySpace website, as they have designed it, will be considered a commercial website should consult with MySpace administrators. This step is not necessary unless the member is concerned their content will be perceived as being commercial. Reviewing the terms of use agreement can provide a great deal of information but some users may still be concerned with the possibility that their website will be penalized if the administrators deem it to be commercial in nature.

Contacting MySpace is a fairly simple process. Members can use the, “Contact MySpace” link from the MySpace.com homepage. The contact page enables members to select a subject and a subtopic and submit this information. Once this is done MySpace provides some preliminary information which may be relevant. If this information is not useful to the member they can email a detailed request to MySpace.

Avoid Spamming at All Costs

If you determine there is an opportunity for you to promote your business through MySpace, care should be taken to ensure the promotion does not cross the line into spam. Spamming is taken very seriously by the MySpace administrators and it may result in links or content being deleted or the privileges of membership may be revoked when a member is found to be guilty of spamming.

Links to your ecommerce website integrated into your MySpace website isn’t considered spamming. Depending on how it is used it may not even be considered advertising, and therefore prohibited, by MySpace administrators. However, visiting other MySpace websites and placing a link to your ecommerce website on each website you visit would be considered spam. These individuals may or may not be interested in the website you provide but even if they are interested sending these links to numerous websites unsolicited is often considered to be spam.

Grabbing A Bargain With An Ebay Store

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

If an auction is what you are searching for then look no further than Ebay. Whether it is buying or selling, the Ebay community is the place to go. As traditional auctions fade into obscurity, online selling and buying are moving into prominence. The days of standing in a crowd bidding on merchandise is quickly fading as Ebay takes the center stage.

Once upon a time, an auction was a detailed process where bidders gathered together and had to physically be present in order to bid, and possibly win, an auction. Ebay listings have changed the way the public acquires new and used items. Even cars can be bid upon by going to Ebay motors.

ebay store
The effort required to bid on auctions on Ebay is virtually nil when compared to previous methods of auction purchases. The first step is to create an account. The second step involves searching for the item(s) in question that you desire. The third step is to bid on the item or to click the “Buy it now” icon.

The last step is paying. Many sellers prefer using Paypal as it is quicker to receive payment. Paying with Paypal requires a checking account or debit card as well as setting up the account. In actuality the hardest part of the entire process is pulling up your internet browser and typing a bit.

As with anything purchased online, there are risks involved. You can not physically touch the item for examination. You must have faith in the seller that the auction item is accurately represented in the description.

ebay prices
Ebay has placed measures within their rules and regulations that try to ensure buyer protection. It is important to read these rules as well as read the item listing carefully and also review the seller’s feedback record.

One ebay service that might be of concern to some is the cost of shipment. The costs depend on where the item is being shipped to. If an item is coming or going overseas, expect to pay more and for the shipment times to be longer since the package must go through customs. It is also important to always elect for insurance if the option is available. Insurance protects you if the merchandise is damaged or lost in transit.

Ebay auctions number in the hundreds of thousands and are not limited to the United States alone. There are ebay feedback in many other countries that are specialized for the language and currency. These items can be purchased by anyone but may be limited in the shipment due to the hassles of customs.

ebay listings
There is little doubt that the ebay auction craze is here. People want the best possible ebay sales as well as the resources to find anything imaginable. The deals are there, ripe for the taking as long as you take the time to look. You might be surprised to find it there, even that obscure amulet from Tibet that contains a dead snake trapped in amber.

PLR Software Sales To Make Internet Money

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

If you are looking to escape the nine to five workplace, you are not alone. This is because many jobs are not just nine to five anymore; instead there are many jobs that require employees to work longer. If you are looking for an easier way to make money, you have come to the rights place, the internet. Online you will find a number of different business opportunities. Some of those opportunities may be just what you were looking for. You can also learn about “Is Site Build It A Scam” on our blog.

The first step in finding a work at home opportunity is to know what your available options are. You can easily do this by examining a number of different sources. Your local book stores and libraries should have a number of different informational books and guides for those who are looking to learn more about working from home. You can also use the internet to search for that same information. Once you start researching work at home business opportunities, you will find that there are a number of different opportunities out there. For the best results, you are encouraged to examine all of them, including private label resell rights.

Private label resell rights are offered on a number of different products, including software programs. These software programs are created by professional software designers or software developers. Although these professionals have experience creating software, there are many who are unfamiliar with selling their products. This is where the private label resell rights come in. Instead of spending money or taking the time to learn how to market and sell their products, many software creators choose to let someone else sell their product for them. They do this by selling the private label resell rights to someone who is looking to make money, someone just like you.

If you are interested in making money by obtaining the resell rights to a private label software program, you will need to find a program. The program that you choose is important because it often determines whether or not you will find success with this business opportunity. You are also advised to be on the lookout for resell right offers that allow you to change the program or claim it as your own. These types of offers may cost more that traditional resell right offers, but they are well worth it.

Once you have obtained the resell rights to a software program, you will then need to start thinking about making money. To make money with this business opportunity, you need to sell the software program, which you now own the rights to. Every time that you may a sale you will see a profit. That is why it is important that you try your best to sell the product. Despite what you may think, this does not mean that you have to work endless hours. Instead, you are advised to find and use the most effective selling methods. These methods may include the development an online product website or the use of online classified ads. In many cases, you will find that these selling methods are quick, but effective.

If selling a software program, that you didn’t even create, sounds nice, you are advised to get started. The sooner you take part in this potentially profitable business opportunity, the sooner you may be able to escape the nine to five workplace.

Making Money Online with MLM Programs can be one of the most rewarding and profitable businesses that you can find. Where else can you start a business for so little and make so much.

My life has definitely had its ups and downs. Starting at a young age working from dark to dark as a machinist to growing a MLM company that has made me a millionaire today. If you are struggling with the idea of “can you really make money online” the answer is absolutely Yes. I fought for the longest time trying to find away to make money online. There are many ways to make money online. I found that you can make money through wide variety of ways. Using your imagination is the key to that. It comes down to supply and demand. There is a catch twenty two with that though if you have supply and no demand you are screwed.

Before my MLM business I did the supply and demand thing. It went well at first. I made a couple moves based inside tips that I got and it killed me. I was stuck with a huge inventory that I still have today. I thought that I had the Niche of all Niches, but there was no demand.

After my wife died in 1997 I left the machinist business and went into the Real Estate field. After two years I became a top producer and again was doing quite well. I was on top of the world. I had money and time. Until the housing crisis hit. You talking about no demand. Wow.

I needed to do something fast , but with out any college education I felt hopeless. I shifted my focus to the internet looking for a standard job. Again I had a lot of promise, but they all collapsed.

While I was looking for jobs I did come across a ton of pitches about how to make money online with a MLM programs. I had no clue witch way to turn or where to start, so I just started.

I finally found a program that took you step by step and taught me what to do. They treated me as if I did not know anything about MLM Programs. They taught me with a mutable of video tutorials and PDF files unlike anything that I found before. That was it. I was on my way right? Not.

Even though I had found a priceless MLM program, I still had my work cut out for me. I still needed to find my Niche and find the best ways for me to promote it.

Well long story short, I did. Over all it was not as bad as I made it out to be, but almost. If I had just found what I needed right away it would have defiantly been easier, but in the long run I learned every day from my experiences.

I don’t mind sharing my Marketing Online and How to Make Money Online with you. I only wish someone would have done this for me, but remember that it is a growing process. I just hope this jump starts you to the next level. Good Luck.

How To Make A Full-time Income Using Ebay And Become A Powerseller

Sunday, March 15th, 2009

Starting on your venture to becoming a powerseller on eBay’s market can be tough. When I started, I sold what I could find around my house and then had no idea what to do next. Ebay’s a great business with so much opportunity but I know I found it hard to take the next step after selling things that I found here and there around the house. I had to go through a lot of research that I just wish I could have been told up front because I wasted so much time. And I hated that. Most of the powersellers on ebay won’t share any secrets or give any advice which is understandable, but come on, there’s enough space on ebay for everyone, so I have no problem giving you some tricks I picked up along the way

First of all, Whoever told you that you need to have a lot’s of money to become successful on ebay lied, I would say you wouldn’t need more than $100. If you don’t have any budget at all then I recommend selling things for your friends and family and keeping a small commission. That way you can build up some funds to get started with. How much you make and what you do honestly just depends on what you’re comfortable, the two sources that were most valuable to me were, Craigslist and The Salehoo drop-shipping source . Craigslist is free and it is basically like ebay except it is local so you can buy products locally for really low prices and then sell them on ebay, nationally or internationally, and make a decent profit most of the time. Salehoo is a wholesale and dropshipping directory and it’s what the powersellers on ebay use to get feedback ratings of 100,000 and up and it’s how they make a living on eBay’s market. Joining salehoo will cost you a one time payment of $67, which isn’t bad comparing to doba which is $60 a month. Doba is a little better but not worth the $60 a month in my opinion unless you live by a computer. There’s so much to say about wholesale suppliers, etc. because they’re a little bit more complicated than craiglist so I won’t go into too much detail. If you want to know more about it then check out this article. The link’s below.

Are You Considering Salehoo? , It doesn’t work for everyone. Make sure you read.

I’d recommend Salehoo if you wanted to make a living on eBay but if you’re just using ebay as something to make a little bit here and there then you should try visiting pawn shops, Garage Sales, Yard Sales, Thrift Shops, and Store closings. You’d be surprised at how much money you could make. If you want to look more into any of those strategies, then check out this article. It will walk you through the process of making money with each strategy.

Where To Find Things To Sell On Ebay

I know I was brief but I hope I’ve at least helped point you in the right direction. I know how tough it can be making money on ebay. Being able to find things to sell on ebay is the biggest barrier though. Once you’ve figured that out, you’ll be just fine.

How to Profit from a Little Known Source of Buried Treasure in Your Area

How to Profit from a Little Known Source of Buried Treasure in Your Area

Here is a little-known technique for finding low cost merchandise to resell on eBay for huge profits.

In almost every area of the US and probably most other countries as well, there is a literal treasure trove of merchandise that is sold for pennies on the dollar every single day. Very few people know about this “secret stash” of goodies, but if you do a little detective work, you can easily gain access to it.

As you probably know Storage Units are rented to people who need extra temporary space to store their household items. (You have probably rented one yourself or know someone that did.)

What most people don’t know is if the renter doesn’t pay the monthly rental the storage company owner will auction the contents of the unit to the highest bidder. This allows anyone to buy used (and sometimes new) merchandise for pennies on the dollar.

Sometimes these units are auctioned “winner take all” where the entire contents are auctioned to the highest bidder. I have seen units go for as low as $25.00 for a small unit up to $300.00 for a unit with lots of merchandise and closed boxes.

At other times, the auctioneer will pull items out of the unit one at a time and auction them individually.

One thing that is common to all auctions is the “grab bag” aspect. If there are closed boxes in the unit the auctioneer will not allow anyone to open the boxes. They are auctioned site unseen. If the auction is for an entire unit, the bidders are not allowed to go into the unit to inspect the merchandise. You must assess the contents from the outside to determine if, and how high, you want to bid.

So, where do you find these auctions? They are sometimes listed in the Auction Section of the newspaper. If a Storage Company goes to the expense of advertising the auction in the paper it usually means they have a lot of units to auction off. However, it also means there will be many bidders and more competition.

The best thing to do is call Storage Companies in your area and ask when they will be holding their next auction. Many times a storage company will have a small-unadvertised auction with only half dozen or so units up for bids. These can be real bargains because fewer bidders show up and you have less competition for the units.

I once bought something at an auction for $10.00 and sold it for $61.00 on eBay. This particular auction was one in which the auctioneer sold the items piece-by-piece as opposed to auctioning off the entire unit at once. I didn’t have time to stay for the entire auction but there were some very nice items that could be picked up very cheap.

However, I noticed a lot of trades people and contractors there and they were really bidding up the tools. Most of the good power tools went for almost retail even though they were used. The reasoning is that if the contractor needs a tool for a certain job or is looking for tools he frequently uses he would rather get a used one than buy a new one at full retail even though the price difference is only $10 - $20. Or, at least that is what one of the contractors told me when I asked him why someone would pay $90.00 for a used tool when he can get the same thing brand new for $110.00.

Certain items in particular areas are going to be over-bid. In my area, since there are many contractors, power tools are one of those items. On the other hand, many other items go for a song because people don’t have any practical use for them. For instance, I was the only bidder for a reel-to-reel tape player.

I also noticed a surplus of bicycles that sold for practically nothing. In fact, the auctioneer usually grouped the bicycles together in lots of two or three just to get an opening bid for them.

*Here are some tips for assessing the contents of storage units:

-Bring a high-powered flashlight with you. The units are usually dark and since you can only view the contents from the outside, a flashlight will help you spot clues that others may miss.

-Look for “Name Brand” merchandise. This generally means that the owner of the contents is brand aware and appreciates higher quality merchandise. This is a big clue that other unseen items (such as items in closed boxes) are of higher value.

-Look for well-organized stacked boxes that are sealed. This indicates that the Storage Unit Company hasn’t tampered with the boxes prior to the sale.

-Dust on the contents, depending on the location of the storage units, usually means that the contents have been stored for many years. There could be items in boxes that are now collectible.

-Addresses on boxes, if you can see an address that is from an upper class neighborhood it increases the odds that there are valuables in the unit.

-Moving Company Boxes, a person who goes to the expense of hiring a moving company likely has some high quality items in the unit.

Storage Unit Auctions can be a great way to pick up resalable merchandise cheap but you must be careful you don’t get burnt. The best way to learn the ins and outs is by attending a few auctions as an observer only. Don’t bid, just watch. You’ll quickly learn what others are willing to bid for a unit of a particular size and with particular types or merchandise. You can then determine after the bidding is over if a unit was over bid or if it was a bargain. Knowing this will help you determine how much to bid when you are ready to participate.

How Do I Earn Money Online

Saturday, January 17th, 2009

How do I start online business, is a question being asked by more and more people. Many of them recognize the Internet as a potential way for them to break free of regular employment and become more independent. The attraction of working from home is a big one. More flexible hours, working in your pajamas, no commute, more time with the family, work anywhere in the world. The thought of working from home has become the number 1 thing on peoples minds for the last couple years.

In these bad economic times it is also a question being asked by people facing a downward turn financially. You may need to earn additional cash to supplement your regular income, or you may need to find work after losing you job. What ever the reason you are looking to start an internet business, here is just a little advise on things to do when you are getting ready to start your internet business.

You only need two things to get started online, a computer and an internet connection. However when you start to look at the internet business programs available online, it can be bewildering. There are thousands upon thousands of moneymaking opportunities and hundreds of millions of websites dedicated to the subject. There is anything from online gambling, paid to read email, paid to complete surveys, affiliate marketing programs, freelancing opportunities, multi level marketing (MLM) programs – the list is endless. There are also thousands of websites promoting online business schemes that promise great wealth in no time at all – and of course there are the scams. The Internet is a bit like the old Wild West where anything goes – or maybe a bit like Wall Street during the last few years. There are a lot of people out there who will take your money without giving you any real information for it.

There are however real sites, that want to help you succeed online, some give you free information on how to start your own internet business without having to by a program, while others have taken the guess work out of choosing the best business program by doing reviews on the programs that claim to make you money. There really are good programs proven to work out there, the problem is that most people can’t find them and get caught up in a scam that puts a bad taste in there mouth, which causes them to give up before they even really get a chance to start.

So here are my tips:

Be clear about which direction you want to go. Review each method of making money online and do some google research about what others think. Join forums and blogs to see how others are really progressing.

Identify the key steps you need to take in order to start making money online.

Find out the techniques and skills you will need in order to undertake the work.

Don’t expect instant success. This is an internet business just like any other business, you cant expect to open your doors and start making money hand over fist, it takes time.

Don’t be sidetracked by other ways of making money before you have given your chosen method a proper chance to succeed. There are two reasons most people fail online.

1. They jump from 1 program to another without giving the first one a chance to be profitable.

2. They don’t get enough traffic to there new website or link. Once you get started you may want to checkout a program called “Flight Search Engine Submission Service” you can find them on any search engine.

It is obviously OK to try two or three different ways of earning money online at the same time, just make sure to give each program the same amount of effort and work to make sure they are going to be profitable.

Don’t give up and you can be successful. And make sure that you know a very simple website traffic strategy that can help you to get more visitors to your site and its pages.

Free Guide to Ebay Real Estate

Sunday, January 4th, 2009

The Internet has revolutionized the way potential homebuyers approach how they buy and sell real estate. In fact, according to the National Association of Realtors, over 80 percent of all buyers use the Internet as their first resource in searching for a house . And, over 30 percent of all houses purchased were first seen on the Internet. Among the many reasons for this trend include the fact that there is so much great information available on the web, there are a gazillions websites listing houses for sale and also the aging of the Generation X’ers, to the point where they are becoming house buyers (the Gen X’ers are very Internet savvy and prefer to do their research online).

I really became interested in buying and selling houses online in the summer of 2005 when I had a few investment properties to sell. The traditional means of hiring a real estate agent to list, then sell the homes really didn’t appeal to me for a couple of reasons. One, I didn’t want to pay a realtor commission as it would cut into my profit margins. Two, I’m kind of a do it yourself person that always has to try something first. So I looked for ways to sell houses using the Internet.

My search for ways to sell houses on the Internet soon took me to ebay real estate. After all, You can sell almost anything on eBay! eBay is the world’s leading marketplace for online goods and services so I was really curious as to how their real estate business was doing, especially considering what they had been able to accomplish in other areas. A person only has to look at one example of what eBay has done to revolutionize buying and selling. In the past few years have you ever looked at eBay to buy a car? If you had, you would have seen that in the year 2000 eBay had a small auto marketplace. Now fast forward to today and eBay Motors dominates the used car marketplace and is the country’s biggest car dealer! Hmmm…now take the above fact and do you think perhaps eBay Real Estate is similar today to where eBay Motors was in 2000? Was eBay poised to accomplish that same feat in Real Estate?

It seemed at the time that selling houses on eBay was really catching on and that it was where the action was in real estate. In mid 2006, eBay seemed like it was going to be a real winner for providing home sellers, investors and real estate agents an inexpensive and effective venue for buying and selling home, commercial properties, timeshares, land, and even mobile homes. The mid 2006 eBay real estate listings were as follows:

- Approximately 4650 Properties were Selling on eBay every month

- Average Listings on any Given Day included:

- 1300 Residential houses
- 350 Commercial
- 100 Manufactured Homes
- 1100 Timeshares
- 1500 Land Parcels

Given the above numbers it seemed like there was a good base of homes being sold on eBay as well as timeshares and land.

So I plowed ahead and tried selling houses on eBay - two in Las Vegas, two in Washington and a couple of preconstruction houses in Florida . I met with mixed success, but more on these deals in a later article.

Now it is early 2009 and I wanted to check back in to see if the real estate business on eBay had picked up any in the two plus years since I had last checked their stats. Here is what I found:

- 520 Residential houses
- 140 Commercial
- 65 Manufactured Homes
- 1277 Timeshares
- 1006 Land Parcels
- 68 Other

The fact that the number of house listings, auctions and classified ads on eBay had declined really surprised. The number of timeshares for sale on eBay had certainly increased, but everything else went down. Why? Initially, I can only think of two reasons why eBay’s real estate business is down. One - the housing market is so bad right now that no one is trying to sell because of the belief there are no buyers. Two - eBay real estate really has not caught on as a place to buy and sell real estate. There can be many reasons contributing to issue number two such as competition for Craigslist (which is free), sellers have had poor success in the past trying to use eBay real estate and maybe all the bad press about online real estate scams have people scared off.

I am curious as to why eBay’s real estate business is down in numbers and I am curious as to what eBay will have to do to gain momentum in this market niche. Do you think sell a house on ebay will grow and prosper? Do you think real estate on ebay has a chance against all the other Internet competition?

If you want to sell real estate from your personal site - you will need targeted traffic for this site. You can get free traffic here.

Learn To Make Money With Auto-responders

Sunday, January 4th, 2009

If you’ve ever dealt with an online company or subscribed to an e-zine or other service on the Internet before, you’ve more than likely received an email from an autoresponder. Although you may not have realized it at the time, it was probably an email letting you know that the individual you were trying to reach isn’t available. Even though it appears that someone else sent the message, it was indeed sent from an autoresponder. Did you also know that the person behind it was more-than-likely earning money from it as well?

Although autoresponders are great for letting others know that you are away, they are even more valuable when used as a marketing tool. If you’ve thought about selling products or services online or if you already own your own company, you could greatly benefit from autoresponders. In the world of Internet marketing – few tools and programs can compete with an autoresponder.

As many Internet marketers already know, autoresponders are a great way to put your business on autopilot and multiply yourself. With an autoresponder, simply set up your preset messages, and select the schedule that each individual message will go out. When messages go out is entirely up to you, you can send them out on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis. You can also use as many messages as you want, and know without a shadow of a doubt that they will go out to those on your customer list when they are supposed to.

Best of all, you don’t even have to touch it and the profits will roll in. This will save you a lot of time, as your autoresponder will handle virtually all of your email tasks. It will follow up with your customers as well, saving you a lot of time there. If you had to follow up with each and every one of your customers yourself, it could cost a lot of time that you could easily be using for other things – even spending time with your family.

Even if your business doesn’t have a lot of site visitors now, an autoresponder can still help you out. Even though you may not think so, it can do a world of wonders. No matter how many visitors you have, you should always strive to capture all the opt-ins that you can. The best way to do this is by providing high quality products and services that will keep your visitors intrigued. If you keep them intrigued, they will gladly sign up to your list with their email address and their name, so that you can contact them with future offers. Even though may be starting out small, your opt-in list can get really big before you know it.

Once your list has grown, it will easily become one of the most valued assets of your entire company. In order for your list to grow, you’ll need to answer emails about your products, services, company, and what you can do for your customers. You don’t need to spend all day doing this anymore, as you can leave everything to your autoresponder. Your autoresponder can answer all of your email questions and give customers what they want – which will help your company grow.

Almost all autoresponders will enable you to send broadcast messages to your entire client list among other things. They will also let you stay in touch with your customers and establish relationships that will keep your customers coming back. No matter how big or how small your company may be – an autoresponder is one investment that you is more than worth your money.
